Sense and nonsense.
Beauty and the grotesque.
The famililar and the bizarre.
Control and chaos.
Daughter Lydia Burris and mother Catherine Burris combine and explore these elements in their multi-media and assemblage work. Inspired by dreams, personal experience and broad interests, as mother Catherine says, “It is the surprise that inspires - and sometimes the mundane or forgotten can contribute to the creation of a new species”.
Join us at WLS&G for IDADA First Friday on September 4 from 6-9 pm as we welocme Visual Fringe Indypendent Award winner Lydia Burris and Catherine Burris for the opening of their exhibition ‘A Little Madness’.
