Making people and ideas findable

Hi Everyone,

Years ago our family started a weekly Trading Day where folks from all over central Indiana could get together to swap things... homemade goods, homegrown veggies, good books, fabric scraps, children's clothing, and even services like haircuts, tutoring and pottery classes. Points were earned by sharing with others in the co-op.

Several families in the community would like to participate in Trading Days once again. So, we have made plans for Saturday, and if you live in central Indiana we hope you can come, bring a basket of things to trade, and you will go home with a basket of great stuff.

We were going to host a trading day every month, but I am expecting to face a couple months of morning sickness starting later this month, because we just found out that we are going to be blessed with a new baby in the fall.

So, we will have a trading day this month and if everyone enjoys the event we will plan to have more trading days in the spring and summer.

· Email Sarah Brown if you are interested.

· We will host the event at 225 North Main Street in Fortville, 46040.

· Trading lasts less than an hour.

Email me if you are not sure what to bring, try not to bring plastic objects and things made in China. Most people bring homemade stuff, gently used household items, how-to books, used tools, kitchen tools, gardenng stuff, art supplies, baked goods and natural organic type stuff.
