You know, I thought the same thing.

He seems to be in a contemplative state in several of the photos.

My reason for posting them is that I have always been in awe of the fact the each president has a photographer following them around 24/7 and gets shots that we could never imagine. None of us could ever imagine the life of a president in any way!

Though each president has his life documented in photos, I've not seen such compelling pictures since seeing pictures of the Kennedy presidency.

There is something about photographs that video will never be able to surpass - they leave the interpretation up to the viewer. Each of those photos makes you wonder what Pres. Obama was thinking at that time, what was going on in his mind. Great series of photographs!
