Making people and ideas findable

'Of Walls, Banquets and Giving Thanks'

From the lip of the ledge, the eyes scan the horizon with the sun, rising, and smiling.

Below a chill winter, below Lascaux, France, a hand separates pouched pigments, lays out the bowls, the binders, the brushes, and begins mixing the fire and the colors and the visions, the hand moving across the wall, the lines appearing. The world vibrates, the temple stills, and the homage shapes itself on the wall, dancing into the soul, laughing the life.

A thousand years away, the sea has brought the fortune she has awaited, the means she has needed. Now she can peel and scrape and cut and saute, boil, bake and roast, filling her sanctuary with the overwhelming updraft of the scents and aromas, swirling and lifting her, lifting her hands to the tasks and performances of duties bound up with angels and transcendence, presenting her world to the table.
China on white linen, in the crystal goblets, champagne, across the tongue, caviar, and the corners turn up on the stoic mouths, the heads begin to nod, and it begins, the door to the possible opening, and the memory is there, smiling with open arms, as we smile back.

we exist in the soul of a higher order, cells and nuclei beating the heart and lungs of a primal scream. We breathe the air of the holy and know our function - a spark in the eternal flame.
