Is there a job available for a teen in the west Indy area?

My newly turned 16 year-old is looking for a job in the Avon, Plainfield, Ben Davis Area. She's not yet gathered enough experience to build a resume so she prepared the following. If you would like to speak with her, please call her directly. I can be reached at 605-8584.

Lia Linae Banks

Dear Prospective Employer,

Please let me introduce myself to you. My name is Lia L. Banks. I am a hard worker and follow instructions well. I have a pleasant personality and speaking voice and would be an asset to any office setting or customer service position. I type 65 words per minute and am proficient in the Microsoft Word package.

I turned 16 years-old on May 26, 2009 and am ready to enter the work world in an effort to prepare for my future. My plans are to go to college and become an attorney. Any opportunity given to me now would lend to that as I have a strong work ethic.

I understand this is not the standard resume, but I am not your average kid. I have a 3.98 GPA and I got and “A” in Physics with a 97% average. I’m a member of the Ben Davis Giants Marching Band and I am a photographer for Ben Davis High School year book. I will be a junior in the fall and would like to continue my employment, if at all possible, at that time. Presently I work hard mowing lawns and doing odd jobs to earn money for college!

I am looking forward to an interview with you so that you can consider my becoming one of your most valuable employees.

Thank you.
Respectfully, Lia Linae Banks

P.S.
My best friend ask that if I lucked up to forward information to her. She has a 17 year-old at Decatur High School.
