Making people and ideas findable

Today is the day that most people dread. It's the day that you are going to stare all of your debt square in the face. If you are half-way normal, then you probably try to suppress your thoughts when they linger towards your debt. Ignoring your debt can be a good technique in some instances, but not during 60 Days to Change. Ignorance is a good practice once that you have a plan in place. But ignorance without a plan is irresponsible. You can ignore your debt throughout the week once you have a plan. This helps de-stress you.

So, here we go. Using the forms within 60 DTC or forms that are available for free on Green Candy list all of your debts. And I mean all of your debts. Do you owe money on a water softener? List it. Owe money on a Macy's card? List it. You must also list your interest rates, minimum payments, and current payments.

Depending on your debt situation, this could be a painful thing. That's okay. Getting your fitness jump-started can be painful too, but it is healthy. If you aren't logging on to 60DTC everyday to get your assignment, then you need to do that. It will give you the rest of the plan. Good luck, and please feel free to send us your questions, comments, and successes. Be sure to tune into 24 Hour News 8 this evening at 11PM to see the next episode of 60 Days to Change.
