Vacationing in Indiana?

We're all Hooisers here, or at the very least, we have a connection with Indiana. But, while many of us live in Indiana, how many of us actually vacation in Indiana as well? Maybe a better question is how many of us explore Indiana?

With my job at the State Tourism office, I tend to get out to more parts of Indiana than I'd guess most Hoosiers do, and I've had the opportunity to see some pretty amazing parts of the state in the past couple years. Some of my favorite places in the state are in the rolling hills of southern Indiana. My wife and I visited Madison last fall and spent some time in the Bloomington/Bedford/Brown County area just a few weeks ago.

What kinds of places have you visited in Indiana? How does it compare with any time you've spent in neighboring states? I'd love to hear some of your thoughts about our great state!
