Are There Any Fort Wayne Members in Smaller Indiana? Join the Waynedale Green Alliance

I am in the process of developing more fully the Waynedale Green Alliance -Group's mission is to connect the citizens and businesses of Waynedale through environmental awareness and lifting their economic status. We are using the ten principles towards greener living as a template.

For those who do not know, Waynedale is a small segment of the Fort Wayne area. There are just over 6,000 residents there and over 200 businesses. It is a very historic and older part of the city that has vast potential and could serve as a prime example of a smaller area gone green.

I am trying to find those in the Fort Wayne area who would be interested in adding feedback to this mission.

I remember Waynedale. I used to drive through there occasionally when I worked in Fort Wayne.

One thing I would recommend is that you put up some flyers in the different neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops. And start e-inviting everyone you know from the area. I started up a small Ning site for my own Indianapolis neighborhood, and it's slowly taking off.
