Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Stacey R. Davis

Book Drive to sponsor Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Guys and Dolls auction.

The book drive will work in two steps.

1. Collection: For a month, all of July, we will have several drop off locations. We're asking anyone who thinks they can help to please put a box out with a sign in their offices, churches, any community area. I will provide both box and sign. The sign will advertise CFF and Guys and Dolls.

If you have any books or magazines of your own you would like to donate, but not able to help with a drop off station please let me know and I'll find a way to get them. I will send out updates of drop off locations and times.

We will take old education/text books, fiction, non fiction, children's, recipe books... Whatever you have. We will also take stacks of magazine such as health or recipe (nothing super dated like entertainment or newsy) to bundle.
audio books, CDs and movies.

2. Sale: One weekend in August (planning 8-10) we will have a 3 day sale. All books or magazine bundles will be $2.
CDs and movies will be $3

Everyone who makes a purchase will also get a receipt and a flyer for Guys and Dolls event. This is to promote Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's event.

If you know of a location the sale can take place, please let me know. We prefer a big parking lot on a decent part of town. We have an idea of a great spot to work on, but will take any suggestions or referrals. I will advertise the drop off locations and especially the sale location. Anyone with a new office location and an easy to get to parking lot with room would be the perfect fit.

What do you think? Can you help? Any ideas for location?

I look forward to your thoughts.
