Hazel "The Queen" Walker Your Referral Dance Partner - Are they Trained

Dancing with the Stars is a very very popular program. The dancers spend a great deal of time training their dance partners. When one goes left the other goes right, there are dips and turns, stops and starts and all of it with the rhythm of the music in the background. How does all of this relate to referrals, it is the same strategy. If you are going to get valuable referrals from your referral partners it requires that you train them and train them correctly. Back to the dancers, one is the… Continue

Hazel "The Queen" Walker Ladies, Ask for What You Want

Over the years I have developed a pretty deep network and one of the things that I spend a lot of time doing is up dating my database. So, when I am networking I will ask the people I meet the following questions; How much of your business is by referral and the response is often 50% or more. That always leads me to my next question, do you have a tracking system or is that a good guess? It is usually just a guess. For most networkers, referrals are completely random and go something like this: To Read More go to… Continue

Hazel "The Queen" Walker If you borrow it, return it better..........

How many times have you loaned something to someone only to have them return it damaged? How do you feel? Angry, disappointed and yes hurt, after all it was your item and you trusted the person that you loaned the item to. We loan our credibility to others regularly when we make a connection for others or pass a referral to them. Each time we make a connection or a referral we are allowing others to borrow our credibility. Unfortunately many times that credibility is brought back, nicked and sc… Continue
