Theresia Whitfield Stuff for Sale - Raising Funds for Adoption

I know this isn't much of a blog but I wanted to take advantage of the Smaller Indiana reach and seek out the help of Fellow Smoosiers. As many of you know, my husband and I are adopting. We're also trying to raise funds for our adoption which means we're selling some stuff. Please take a look and let me know if you're interested. Feel free to pass along to your friends. And thanks in advance!

Theresia Whitfield Fundraiser I - Complete: An Adoption Update

I can't remember the last time I participated in a garage sale but, I can assure you that I had no recollection of it being such a huge task! But then again, I wasn't using the garage sale as a fundraiser for the adoption of our child either! Wow! I am still so overwhelmed with everything that's happened in the last couple of weeks. Our first fundraiser was a success. We made about $1700 in two days of selling, selling and even more selling. We still have lots of leftovers but plan on making go… Continue

Cissi Sherlock 300 People can make a kids life a little easier

I need 300 people to help make a fundraiser that I am putting together for my local high school band students a great success! She contacted me thinking that doing something at Morty's would be perfect for my group, Make me laugh - Show meContinue

Cissi Sherlock The Kidney Walk - Please join my Team!

I recently withdrew from The Kidney Walk, but my heart is still with the cause and my team leader, and I do not want to be a hinderance to my team. Therefore, if anyone out there is interested in taking my place, my team name is The Master Blasters. The Team leader is Cathy Porter and she formed the team in honor of her brother Stanley Porter who died of Kidney disease. I told Cathy I would help her acquire additional team member… Continue

Kevin M. Hill What to do on the only January Weekend without NFL Football

Indianapolis is a great city, but often we fail to take advantage of the great opportunities that are here. Never is that more true than January. It is cold, often snowy and slushy, and just not conducive to leaving the house. Add to that, intense NFL playoff football every weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. That is, until the week before the Superbowl. If you are like me, there is an invetibable letdown and sense of dismay over the inability to watch grown men beat the tar out of each other for… Continue
