As a landscape designer and a naturalist at heart, I believe rubber mulch needs to stay away from your landscaping! It’s smelly, can contain wire, and does not add organic matter to the soil. There is also concern that rubber mulch does leak small amounts of zinc into the soil and can cause an imbalance in soil alkalinity.
I not only have a green thumb, but a “green” conscious as well…Continue

A wide variety of topics are impacting American society from community services to fitness and wellness. As Americans continue to recover from the financial downfall that began in late 2008, one issue needs a loud voice--FINANCIAL LITERACY.

One of Tony Dungy’s sons has a genetic condition that prevents him from feeling pain. In his book, Quiet Strength, Tony tells stories about his son running into walls, falling down, and getting right back up as if nothing ever happened.
What would you do as a business leader if you knew that no matter what you did, you would not feel pain from it?
The fear of pain has prevented me from doing a ton of fun and potentially successful things. My parents call me an…
