Feds want ZIRP

Ben Bernanke said that the Fed will go for a Zero Interest Rate Policy (ZIRP) through 2014. That means that the housing and economic recovery isn't as robust as hoped. The government is trying to give a boost to the economy. Treasury bill rates are 3%. However, with rates this low, it would take 25 years for an investor to double their money. While the lower interest rates won't help your IRA or savings plan, it does mean your buying power in real estate has never been stronger.…

I Don’t Really Care as Long as He Has Teeth

I was at a local Panera Bread getting a hot tea while waiting for my next appointment when I overheard the lady in front of me tell the gentleman she had just met in line she was looking to meet a man – and her criteria – he just better have his teeth. She said she just couldn’t image having a man in her life that would take his teeth out in the evening.

After I giggled a bit, it made me stop and think – wow, what are our priorities when it comes to things that are important in our…

If relationships are going to be at the fore-front of your networking activities, then you first have to strengthen your relationship with self. Self-reflection, reason for being, purpose driven and vision is an important part of that process. If you don’t take the time to sit back and work on yourself, who will?

How School Performance Can Affect a Home’s Asking Price

Some families base their entire housing search on the quality of the schools near the home for sale. According to Move, Inc., buyers and sellers in top school districts will often see median home prices range from 10 to 28 percent higher than homes in lesser performing districts.
