Of Walls, Banquets and Giving Thanks

'Of Walls, Banquets and Giving Thanks'

From the lip of the ledge, the eyes scan the horizon with the sun, rising, and smiling.

Below a chill winter, below Lascaux, France, a hand separates pouched pigments, lays out the bowls, the binders, the brushes, and begins mixing the fire and the colors and the visions, the hand moving across the wall, the lines appearing. The world vibrates, the temple stills, and the homage shapes itself on the wall, dancing into the soul, laughing the life.

Hello, I am new to Smaller Indiana and thought I would reach out to connect and say hello. My name is Brandon and I am the Director for Musical Medicine. We build music libraries for hospitals.

Are you planning on attending the Chocolate Blues and Business Networking Festival next Thursday? I hear it's going to be huge, they expect about 1,500 people to attend. It should be a great networking day! I have free tickets, if you need a ticket, let me know and I'll email you one. If you want more details about it, it's listed under events on the 26th.

Have a good day and I look forward to networking with you. Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you,
Brandon

Hi Wug! Nice to connect via Nancy McGann. We need to get Nancy on Smaller Indiana, too. Happy Holidays. Going to St. Louis to visit my mother but I will reconnect when I get back.

Hi, Wug. I as glad to see you here. I keep thinking about stopping by your openings and, well, I should take you up on the offer and actually stop by. I do hope that you are well. Been spending recent Fridays at Hidden Noise (which is now a 3-person venture, myself, David, and Gregory Steel included), but I'm not really tied there so... who knows. Freedom is good and it means that I should at least stop by the studio and see you soon, bring David along if he can come. Sounds like you have a lot going on.

Hello there! 2nd Friday went really, really well! There was a lot going on downtown, and the weather was really good, so I think that encouraged people to come out. Plus, the feature artist in the gallery was really great, so a lot of people wanted to meet him and see his work. I hope September goes well too! I had a lot of great comments from folks about my work...so that was also encouraging for me. I would love to meet you, so I hope you do come out sometime!

We have plenty of time. The fringes are all in the summer, so it will be NEXT summer. We're also thinking of the Dublin Fringe, in Ireland. Karen has a contact there and I have one in NYC. I think we'll need $7,000 to really do some work around here and there and everywhere next summer.
We'll see!
