One of the best reasons is that is a great place to raise a family. The business climate is basically healthy. Small business thrives with all the tools and opportunities available. Come on in...the water is fine.

Hi Steve,

I saw that you were on the Business Roundtable Network (BRN) discussion in Smaller Indiana. We have our biggest event in our short history (Jan. 2009 until now) coming up next week. If ever there was a time to get involved with BRN now would be the time. We provide the support and exchange of expertise needed in this economy. We need a core of people (50) who are truly committed to helping each other get through this economy and thrive.
It would be great to have you as a part of that.
Hope to see you next Thursday. See details below.

Thursday, April 30th
4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
At Conquest Racing Headquarters
Get additional information and register in advance by going to our website: www.brncommunity.com
We need you to register because food is being provided by oyster bar and grill – excellent!
We need numbers so we get the right amount of food!
So register now for this FREE event.
I hope to see you there.

I don't think so. I did a quick search and not many popped up. I've contacted those that came up in the search, but no reply yet. You're in an interesting business. Let's keep in touch. As for networking leads...have you tried the Chamber After Hours networking events? It's a start. I'm leading a immigration forum in September. We're inviting community leaders to be the facilitators. It might be an event you're interested in.

Adding new locations to your business....

I have been having a great time over the past 2 weeks with clients in building business to the point of being ready for a new location. There has been one BFO (Blinding Flash of the Obvious) that was particularly interesting that I want to share. One client is anxious to move to other cities with their business and the services they offer to small business owners. Given their service I know that this business will be successful in other cities. I found that my client was starting to sell in othe… Continue

Word of Mouth Marketing

Word of Mouth (WOM) is one of the most interesting forms of marketing that exists. When you ask business owner about the strategies they use to develop leads, the most common answer that comes out of their mouth is…”Word of Mouth.” The reason that all my business owner friends claim WOM as a strategy is that they perceive it to have little or no cost associated with it and they usually don’t have much money to spend on marketing, or anything else for that matter.

When I start to question them a… Continue
