Hi Steve, I am new to the whole Smaller Indiana thing. I have to admit that your profile appealed to me for a number of reasons; the main one being that I am a little apprehensive at all the business owners I am being approached by so someone that works for someone else is refreshing. I am currently an Assistant Design Manager in the Paper and Party Goods Industry and I am hoping to break into agency work. It would be great to start meeting contacts that can guide me in the direction of how to make that transition.

Just wanted to remind you about Web Content 2008 Chicago. It's a conference I produce with a consulting firm in Chicago that is right up your alley.

Check out the site and let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. We might want to connect soon as I am in need of some trade show promotional ideas.

Steve,

I sent a message to Tiffany, and she pointed me in your direction. I'm a freelance copywriter with 15 years of experience in marketing communications, from sales and AE, to creative, to a combination of both.

I'd love to speak with you about providing some freelance help when thinks get a bit hectic. Or we can just chat about hard rock/metal bands (my first concert was KISS in 1977).

You can check out my new blog on my SI page, or check my portfolio at http://www.stephenedds.com/portfolio.

Billable: Something that you do that someone else wants to pay you for, you invoice so it looks good on your books, but you have a better chance of collecting on a Powerball ticket than this account.

Steve - We're going to a wine tasting event at Cafe Nora on April 14. Would you and Nila like to join us? Info is on the Wine lovers group page on SI. I'm also sending a note to Nila to ensure total Nealy coverage. Andy

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
