What is your greatest strength?
My eagerness to learn and my willingness to keep an open mind.
What are you working on?
Graduating! I'm a student at Purdue double majoring in Advertising/Public Relations and Religious Studies. (I know, strange combination... I'll be happy to elaborate if you ever want to know more.)

I am actively involved with PRSSA and Purdue's student-run PR firm, Boiler Communication, including having served on the Board in the past and co-chairing PRSSA's "COM Day" last semester. Since I will be graduating in December of this year, I chose to limit my official role in most of the organizations I participate in to allow time for job-hunting. I am, however, chairing Boiler Communication's first fundraiser. We're teaming up with "Our Kids Are Our Community" in Lafayette to put on a video-game tournament in September, which I'm very excited about!

I'm also the president of the Purdue chapter of AAF. When I went to try and officially found the organization, I discovered it had previously existed at Purdue, and we simply needed to re-activate the chapter. So, we're currently in the process of trying to re-build the chapter and get students excited about becoming a part of it.

I love marketing, design and event planning, and I'm always looking for more experience, so if you have any projects that you could use some help on, please feel free to drop me a line. I'd love to help if I can!

I love this idea, Pat. I hope it creates the response you're looking for. I would be interested to hear a follow-up on this to see how it turns out. Very progressive and genuinely good-natured. I love it!

Is there a reason that this isn't listed as an event on Facebook too? Or did I just miss it somehow? Would love to share the event details with other friends in that network that might be interested.

Actually, I saw your post and chris eluded to it.

I believe we would be happy working with you and I will share with Chris that you and I have touched on that.

My field in PR/Marketing/Event Planning, so I thing we could work well together. I am from the old school, so I am sure you can tech me a few things!

I have been on IndianaIntern.net for years, taking intern and training in the PR/Marketing/Sales areas. I was also an intern mentor for Indianapolis Metropolitan High School in 2007-2008 teaching the kids that as well as how to use this knowledge to start a small business or community outreach program.

Being old school, I use a lot of kamikaze methods when promoting an event, but the e-generation has been a great asset. I wouldn't still continue in this field if it weren't FUN!!!!

We'll talk soon.

I guess after all that, we should be friends. I love anyone who stands up to Chris. He's actually my boss that I haven't had time to work for! Funny! I've been under contract to him for about a year and a half, now.

Now the good new!

We formed a collaborative partnership as a result of yesterdays discussion and will be moving forward with the planning of an event to celebrate the cultures that make up the American dream!

Of course there will be a booth for short, blue-eye blonds. But, in accordance to the Fairness Doctrine, tall, blue-eyed blonds will have to have a booth right next door for the sake of equal treatment!

I smile!

Seriously though, after Chris and I get something more concrete going and get it down on paper, we'll share with our "ever so passionate" friends at SI.

You guys are great!

Thanks for the friend-vite!

Ha ha that's great! We've really been trying hard to grow it at Purdue, I think we are close to about 5,000 students there.

We're developing a lot of new features this summer, so make sure you check it out when you head back to West Lafayette in the fall.

Thanks for connecting.
