Graduating! I'm a student at Purdue double majoring in Advertising/Public Relations and Religious Studies. (I know, strange combination... I'll be happy to elaborate if you ever want to know more.)

I am the President of the Purdue Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, as well as an active member of PRSSA, including co-chairing their "COM Day" (career fair & professional development event) for the last two years.

I love marketing, design and event planning, and I'm always looking for more experience, so if you have any projects that you could use some help on, please feel free to drop me a line. I'd love to help if I can!

Incidentally, I would also mention that I always start out friendly... I don't see any point in being "difficult" unless the company decides to force you into that position by refusing to correct the problem. Too many people just accept it when a co…

I agree with this philosophy whole-heartedly. I am a HUGE proponent of consumer rights, and I take customer service very seriously, as I believe everyone should. It doesn’t benefit anybody when poor customer service is allowed to go unmentioned. I…

Hmmm... this group doesn't seem to get much traffic. Are there ever any events held to allow people to meet, like the group description implies?

I think there might be something to this notion of "cool" being related to how progressive and open-minded a person is. I could buy that as a definition. That's actually what drew me in to SI. I felt like most of the people posting here contained th…

It's not that you can't be cool at any age... anybody can. 5 to 95. Doesn't matter. It's that "cool" changes with age. That's why the "veterans" don't appear to be "cool" as defined by the younger generation. It's a different standard of what's publ…

Your daughter is right. A pedicure or a massage right about now sounds lovely. However, your ad doesn't specify where you are or give a link to your website to find out more information. That might help garner a bit better response to your offer. :)

I think the only good way to answer this question is by asking another. Does the company have a stake in whatever action/picture/message the employee is posting? In some situations, such as the example presented here, the company has an investment i…

Actually, I saw your post and chris eluded to it.

I believe we would be happy working with you and I will share with Chris that you and I have touched on that.

My field in PR/Marketing/Event Planning, so I thing we could work well together. I am from the old school, so I am sure you can tech me a few things!

I have been on IndianaIntern.net for years, taking intern and training in the PR/Marketing/Sales areas. I was also an intern mentor for Indianapolis Metropolitan High School in 2007-2008 teaching the kids that as well as how to use this knowledge to start a small business or community outreach program.

Being old school, I use a lot of kamikaze methods when promoting an event, but the e-generation has been a great asset. I wouldn't still continue in this field if it weren't FUN!!!!

We'll talk soon.

I guess after all that, we should be friends. I love anyone who stands up to Chris. He's actually my boss that I haven't had time to work for! Funny! I've been under contract to him for about a year and a half, now.

Now the good new!

We formed a collaborative partnership as a result of yesterdays discussion and will be moving forward with the planning of an event to celebrate the cultures that make up the American dream!

Of course there will be a booth for short, blue-eye blonds. But, in accordance to the Fairness Doctrine, tall, blue-eyed blonds will have to have a booth right next door for the sake of equal treatment!

I smile!

Seriously though, after Chris and I get something more concrete going and get it down on paper, we'll share with our "ever so passionate" friends at SI.

You guys are great!

Thanks for the friend-vite!

Ha ha that's great! We've really been trying hard to grow it at Purdue, I think we are close to about 5,000 students there.

We're developing a lot of new features this summer, so make sure you check it out when you head back to West Lafayette in the fall.

Thanks for connecting.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
