What is your greatest strength?
I believe one of my greatest strengths is the ability to see the big picture in any situation. It is important to first listen and then try to get past all of the ‘noise’ and ultimately to the root of the issue. It’s about understanding the landscape of a situation and what particular issue someone may be looking to resolve.
What are you working on?
Currently I am involved in a variety of projects as a part of the Marketing team at Interactive Intelligence. These projects range from social networking activities, SharePoint administration, to creating collateral for our Worldwide Services organization, and facilitating our GSA (Government Services Administration) contract submission process.

Hi Sherri...I can't wait to meet you. You're going to have to tell me how you do it...dealing with Michael 24/7. :)

Thanks Sherri...I think they're wanting an experienced person who has actually "sold" the software products. While I haven't actually "sold" the software products, I have implemented them and recommended them as a workflow solution. With my insurance background on a corporate level and as an entreprenuer, I have a strong understanding of its value and the process improvements it brings to a company.

We'll see...LeAnn was a great interviewer and I'm hopeful that I can make the "face-to-face" phase in the process.

It sure is....I spoke to LeAnn about a week ago. At this point I think I was referred to the hiring managers. While I have a strong background in Insurance, Strategic Account Management and workflow processes, I don't have a strong background in "selling" the workflow process software solutions products. Nevertheless, LeAnn was very helpful and informative.

We'll see how it goes.

Hi Sherri,

Thanks for the comments. Wanna laugh? I recently applied to I.I. for a Strategic Account Manager -Insurace position within your company. I spoke to LeAnn Melichar (I.I. Recruiter) for a phone interview. Small world...

Make it a great day!
