I don't burn out so much overall, but I do migrate from tool to tool based on what I'm needing in my life at the time. And like everyone else, sometimes I just turn it all off.

I just had this same conversation with someone the other day. I'd guessed correctly and now memorized *D and *T so I can delete my VMs and transfer to another number. Other than than, I'm toast! It's times like this I say "I don't think we've thou...

I've never seen any "loosers" but I know if I had it would annoy me. As a writer, English grad, and paid proofreader, I have several pet peeves that I encounter often. One is misuse of the word "literally" in exactly the opposite manner it was i...

I saw this t-shirt online one time that said "Your retarded." The owner of the t-shirt was supposed to use the phrase to people who corrected the t-shirt wearer on their grammar. I wanted to get a shirt that said "you're a looser" in response. Lo...

Walking through our mall in Ft. Wayne sometimes confirms that the words mean the same when I see a young man's pants falling down (loose). Does that make him a loser? hmmmm.

Hello Ms Brady! :)

I'm doing well! I am really happy about this holiday weekend that we just had.. I took a bit of a break over the weekend from nearly all technology! That was interesting for me!

Hey Robyn,
Did Bernard Munos have anything to do with you finding my mnemonic blog? I mentioned to him at the Indy Business Book Club meeting that I would like to buy you lunch, based solely on your title on Linked In.

The next couple of weeks are a little messy, would Tuesday September 9th work for you? You can email me directly at astark at indy dot rr dot com.

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm bringing a life sciences conference to town. I was hoping you might share this announcement with others who might find attending this event of interest.

It's called Documentation and Training Life Sciences and it takes place June 23-26, 2008 at the Union Station Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis. Smaller Indiana members qualify for a $300 discount off the price of attendance. Educators can get an even bigger discount.

I have a flyer I can send you via email that you can send to folks who might be interested. Let me know if you can help me spread the word locally.

Thanks in advance.

Brooklyn first, then Rosedale on the Nassau county, NYC border line...

Good Pizza here ( N Y Style) two surprising locations:
A little palce in Clay Terrace sells pizza by the slice

And a place up in Zionsville, on 334 outside of the downtown area.. But you have to order a whole pizza.. ( They sell by the slice, but aren't busy enough) and it gets old, so if you order a pizza fresh, it is made righ and tastes right..

Pet peeve of the day: Being a loser

The word is lose. Not loose. The word is loser, not looser. One means you've lost. The other means your clothes are going to fall off.

Am I a loser for mentioning this? Maybe.

What's your pet peeve?

Urgent! Looking for small business owners to be interviewed for a magazine!

An accomplished writer and a dear old friend of mine, Fawn Fitter wrote to me with this request, and I thought I'd pass it along to the Smoosiers:

---------------------------
For an imminent issue of a business magazine, I'm looking for a small business owner who made a business mistake that threatened growth or revenues, but who was able to correct it and bounce back in a way that eventually led to greater success. I'd be interviewing this person for an as-told-to article -- in other words, s/… Continue
