Raise the Woof! at Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport Hotel

November 3, 2012 from 7pm to 10pm
Raise the Woof” will be held on November 3rd in the Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport Hotel. The event will begin at 7pm. Tickets include a fabulous evening of music, wine, little bites, desserts and a magnificent silent auction.  A cash bar will be available.  The dress code is business formal. The phone has been ringing off the hook at Misty Eyes Animal Shelter & Learning Center!  Some of the calls are from wonderful people wanting to help but many are for dogs and cats in need.While we raise funds to build our facility all of our animals are in foster care.  We greatly appreciate the network of foster families we currently have but are in need of a few more.We currently have dogs and cats on a waiting list.  We are working night and day to find foster families, raise funds for…See More

The story behind Misty Eyes....

Four and a half years ago I was offered a promotion that would require me to move to Indiana, being that I was in the hospitality industry I was given the luxury of living on property for a few months until a permanent place was found.  I explained I wouldn't be able to accept this amazing offer if my dog Misty could not live in the hotel with me.  Thankfully my company agreed that she could stay in the hotel, I happily accepted the offer and off to Indy we drove.
