Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
I am an architect and real estate developer (primarily retail) who aspires to create projects that are aesthetically pleasing and responsive not only to the needs of the tenants but also the public. In my career as an architect/designer I have in the last few years seen a demand for better, more interesting and socially responsible building designs from clients and from the public. Fortunately, we seem to be at a tipping point culturally in that the old formulaic responses to building design are not so easily spoon fed to the masses. I feel that having training firmly rooted in building design will bring a unique perspective to my new-found career in real estate development. I am hoping that, thru my participation in Smaller Indiana, I will be able to connect with others who have similar aspirations as I continue the process of designing and building our environment.
