"interesting thoughts. as you may have heard, print media is on a steady decline. I don't have a crystal ball so I could be wrong but as more Gen Yers take over, and Gen Xers retire, print media will likely be the new pony express."

"Print is historic. Many, many people prefer the look and feel of an old fasihoned, portable, no electricity required book over trying to read on a computer screen or kindle. I believe a study was conducted on this topic."

Why hasn't digital news and advertising replaced print newspapers yet?

I figured with everything going digital nowadays and most companies are trending towards social media marketing/advertising. Why does print newspaper still exist? I mean, doesnt The Star make most of its money from advertisers buying space in their paper? If their was no print newspaper and they went all digital, think of all the money and time they would save. Not to mention the number of trees, lol.See More

Marketing--a bad field to be in right now?

I cannot seem to figure out what I am doing wrong to not be able to get a marketing position, two years after graduating with my Bachelor's. In spite of not having done an internship ( I know, big mistake, but i worked full time and couldnt afford to take an unpaid internship) while in school, I know that I should be able to get a position somewhere, even without experience.
