I'm thrilled and pleased to follow in my family tradition of participating in the local fair. From my earliest days in small-town Georgetown, Illinois, I attended the Georgetown Fair with my two sisters and mom & dad. I was involved as the project manager for the Indianapolis Museum of Art expansion in 2005. I loved it but I love making things more.

Isn't it great when an angel appears to you during your normal everyday existence? Tonight I received an email note from my friend, fellow metalsmith and mentor, Ginger Meek Allen. I met Ginger during a week-long intensive metalsmithing/jewelry making class at the Arrowmont school in Gatlinburg, Tennessee this spring.
