I believe success is about attraction. The "self-made" is true in terms of working on yourself and your craft. You then find people are attracted to you for who you are and what you become such as top athlete, real estate agent, product manager, c...

John, glad you are busy. Things are good I have been at Telematrix for a little over a year. They have scaled down quite a bit. We moved out by the airport into smaller space. Mike Smith, Kevin Grelle and I are the only three employees. Mike

Doing okay. Busy after a bit of a drought. Didn't know you were with Telematrix (my first job in the biz, back in the late 70s!) I know TMX moved, don't even know who is there (besides you.) How are you? What's new?

Hi Mike! sorry I have not been in touch. Hope things are going well for you. Spring time always gets hectic for me and my focus has shifted to my clients. As for video, I have put that on the back burner and may or may not re-visit it. Anyway, keep in touch and hope to see you up in Michigan!

Mike, you have a great bio. Could you answer a quick questions for me? Where would you steer a bright college junior with a major in digital media arts to for a summer internship in Indy? Thanks for your help. Dan

Mike, Video seems to be the next big thing. My focus is not in marketing or fund raising but maybe some people will find you through Smaller Indiana.

If you mean my page on SmallerIndiana, um . . . go to My Page (that's your "My Page," not mine) and select Edit Page Appearance. You can select a preset theme, as I did, or cook up something yourself if you speak HTML (which I don't--is that the good or the bad cholesterol?)

Glad you're doing well and still calling Colts games. Beth and enjoyed seeing the last regular-season game at the Dome.

I'm having the time of my life as an independent communications consultant. I work out of home (wearing slippers now and listening to music) for a neat array of nonprofits, corporate clients and professional practices. I do my usual array of marketing, media, issue and advocacy work.

Life is sweet. Your kids are getting old, too! Tom is getting seriously into music production (and composing using Reason.) Abby is in Vienna for her final semester. She composed a Latin Mass for her senior project. Sarah is working for a cool nonprofit in Phoenix. Beth is an expert in property tax matters, in her element and contributing to the current . . . um, discussion . . . on issues of tax and municipal finance.

Let's talk offline and get coffee or lunch sometime to catch up!
