Super Bowl Commercials

So last night I'm watching the Super Bowl and normally the commercials are my favorite part of the entire broadcast. However last night I was rather dissappointed in the turn out of the commercials. Especially with Pepsi and Budweiser!

Tourism not a respectable major?!

So I'm sitting in class the other day and my professor begins to tell us that our major; Tourism, Conventions, Events Management; is not considered a respectable major. Okay, part of that I can understand. I mean in my time here at IUPUI, I've taken 2 wine tasting classes; come home somewhat intoxicated from them.


I've taken a class called catering and the lab portion of the class is going out to Wisconsin for a week; on a beautiful lake; and cooking in the kitchen for 4 straight days,

Calling all Event Planners.... time to show off your talent and skills!

We are looking for six event planners who would like to showcase their talent and skills for our Bebe Paluzza Baby Shower. In conjunction with our Indy Baby and Toddler Show we will have a specific area that is dedicated to planning a Baby Shower. Each event planner will be given a 4ft round table to decorate in a baby party theme.

An estimated 6000 consumers will attend our show and 55% of them will be expecting. This marketing strategy will allow you to showcase your talents to the consumer. We encourage you to place business cards and promotional materials on the table.

Set up will take place on Friday, April 25 from 6:00am- 5:00pm. Exhibitor tear down will take place on Sunday, April 26 from 4:00-8:00pm.

Marketing package includes:
- 1- 4ft Round table for showcase and display of items
- Informational sign up sheet on table for consumers to leave information-- lead generation
- Marketing materials to be left on tables for consumers to take
