Real Women vs. Models: Who do you want to see in a magazine?

That is a good point Nikki. I am excited for real women in Glamour just because it's a large magazine and I want to see what I would actually look like in their clothes and not just what I do look ...

Which park has the toboggan track Scott? Clifty or Pokagon? My husband is in love with winter (don't ask me why LOL) and every year talks about going sledding or tobogganing.

Yes, I know Taylor. Good school. My youngest liked it but I think he really wants to go to Hillsdale.

My youngest is thinking of going to Hanover. The park is, I think, the nicest one in the state. You know another nice one is Pokagon near Angola. In the winter they operate a toboggan track. It IS FAST!! What a rush!!

Patoka's Edge Trip

I wanted to go on an anniversary trip for our fourth anniversary but I was laid off in July and it just wasn't practical. When I read on SmallerIndiana.com that VisitIndiana.com was holding a contest for a trip, I jumped at the chance. I started tweeting and Facebooking like crazy.

The trip ended up being postponed due to a last minute booking so we just went - Nov. 2-4. We had just went to Naperville for a conference and stopped in Elkhart to visit my parents and then stopped at our house to c… Continue

Getting ready to go on my VisitIndiana/SmallerIndiana contest trip!!!

We are about to head down to Patoka's Edge!

We spent part of last week outside of Naperville for my husband's conference then drove to Elkhart (my hometown) for Halloween festivities and drove back to Anderson (our home base) and are now off to Taswell in beautiful Southern Indiana! I've been to the top and now bottom of Indiana in a 5-day span!

I amused myself during his conference and wandered across the highway to the… Continue

hayride!

This weekend we went to a church cookout thing and somebody's farm in Emporia. And I got to go on my FIRST hayride of the season! Even the drive was pretty just getting there (it was like 5 minutes LOL) but it was through corn fields (which I think should be harvested! but weren't yet), and the trees were turning reds and oranges instead of the usually gold. It was weird. Usually I see mostly gold and green at this point but they are already in red and orange stages. Must be the weather or the f… Continue
