What are YOU Wearing for St. Patty's?

Have I been hiding under a rock, or is this recession making people crazy? I think up until this last decade, it was weird if you did more than wear a green shirt for St. Patty's. Now, people are dressing up like leprechauns. People are buying costumes. I don't remember this sort of thing before the recession; now there are commercials to buy some really strange outfits. See More

The German Ethel Merman

I was pleasantly surprised by the Beef & Boards Theater’s production of The Producers. You know how you see a film trailer and you get all excited about it, only to find you have already seen all the good stuff in a short, action-packed trailer??? Since I have seen both of the wildly successful film versions of The Producers, I thought I would spend the evening enjoying more of the same, but in person. Hence, my pleasant surprise. The portrayal of the show’s characters was distinctly… Continue

Saying "hello" to strangers

Blog entry #1

My life as a modern-day hermit:

For years, I would go to work, go to the gym or the grocery store, and then go home. On weekends, I usually only left the house to go to the gym or the grocery store.

At work, I had such a high level of interaction with co-workers, clients, and salespeople, that at the end of the day, I no longer had the desire to speak to anyone but my husband.

I realize that having a job, work-friends, and a spouse isn’t… Continue

Funny you would ask that. :)
I actually went to high school with Kyle Lacey and we grew up together. Lived about a mile from each other.

I am Dan and Rainy's son but good friends with Mike and Priscilla.
