What is your greatest strength?
At Ball State University, I was involved in several organizations that helped shape and mold my management and design skills. I actively participated in the university's chapters of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I served as the Communications Coordinator for PRSSA, designing and promoting upcoming events for the large and active organization.

One of my highest achievements was serving as Senior Account Manager for the student-run public relations agency on campus, Cardinal Communications. I organized and managed projects with 4-7 account coordinators for local clients and helped jump-start a new magazine through media buying and planning.

I was also selected to be a part of a nominated group of business fellows on BSU's campus. Our team of 8 people spent two semesters creating a business plan to increase membership and promote more activity through the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Many of our ideas were selected and put into practice.

My ideas carried over in my position as Marketing Director at J-Ideas, a First Amendment awareness organization on campus. We distributed materials and offered classes to high school journalism students across the nation on how they could legally exercise their right and freedom of speech and press.

Once graduating from Ball State, I began my current position at Sport Graphics. Though I do not dabble in design work at SG, my management skills have developed into this important role. I continue to design on the side for my church and personal interests.
