The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Public Health, home of IN MAPHTC, has recently experienced rapid expansion, including additional faculty, a larger student body, and new research initiatives. This expansion has allowed the scope of continuing education initiatives to broaden. To more closely identify these efforts, IN MAPHTC has changed its name to Office of Public Health Practice.

The Office of Public Health Practice will remain your source connecting with fellow public health professionals, learning relevant information; and acting together to improve public health infrastructure in Indiana. Through efforts such as the Indiana Joint National Public Health Week Conference, Building the Foundation for a Healthy Indiana, our interactive website, and our Spring 2009 course schedule, you’ll see our commitment and dedication to serving the public health workforce statewide.

Hi Kate,

Yes, I've seen you in the Communication Studies department. You teach, right? You should join Connexions, support my ALP. And pass the word too. Want to grab coffee sometime let me know.

Kate,
I can truly speak on both topics Time Management and Dealing with Difficult people. Is everything within the April 7 and 8th time frame? Those days are fine for me, I just need to know how much time is allotted for the topic, etc. I'd be happy to discuss further with you and let you know what I'd be delivering for each topic. E-mail is lzettler@indy.rr.com or phone is 317-815-4647.
