As an engineer with patents I firmly believe that the arts are extremely important as part of the innovative process. The artist in most cases is thinking outside the box and to invent is also to think outside the box. It’s the sprit of the arts tha…

I lost most of my family to a hate crime in the 1940's until a few months ago I never even knew what happened to my grandparents. They were taken to Riga in a cattle car, marched to the woods outside of town and machine gunned down into an open pit.…

I have been very lucky. I have had three jobs. My first and it lasted 30 years was a blast. Talk about that new gizmo, I was designing them from working on the space shuttle in 1971, while it was just a drawing to designing air cargo systems before…

A Question of Ethics in Indiana Politics

The State of Indiana has a pretty good Ethics Code, the major problem it only applies to the Executive Branch of our government. Somehow the rest of the state got left behind. In fact you can go to the following website http://www.in.gov/ig/codecomplete.html and see the information on the code.

But what about everyone else? That is what I want to know as a taxpayer and I am sure you do.

Joe Wins by a Landslide

OK so my election was uncontested and after I voted I won. But what is interesting my opponent also was uncontested and she got about 1600 less votes and her party has 70% of the registered voters in this area.

It is time for a change. Lets do it together. Please go to www.indianaforjoe.com and donate to help me in November remove this 16 year in office seat warmer. Anything will help from a few dollars to a lot.
