I remember a certain time in my life when I thought I was cool. That was when my sons finally figured out I grew up in the late 60's and early 70's and knew the words to many rock and roll songs. Like from the Beatles, Stones, Steppenwolf, etc. No...

Where is this summer going?

Wow!....can you believe it is already the end of July? It does not even feel like we have had summer yet. Where is the heat? I remember a few July 4th's ago that we were sweltering one summer while camping in Brown County State Park. We did not have air conditioning in our pop up camper and just lazed around the campsite in our hammocks and a cool drink. Oh well, still having fun this summer anyway. You just have to make your own fun you know.

Jim,

Great to meet with you as well. I definitely thought it was worthwhile. I like the "different box" approach. You have a great week too. See you at future RM events!

Yes, I'm sure persistence and patience and focus on reinventing myself will continue to be important to eventually landing that job.

Are you employed now?

Hello Jim,

Good to hear from you! The job search is still in the works. I'm constantly thinking there is more I should be doing, but I don't know what that "more" is. Still networking, responding to web postings, but nothing promising. How are you doing?

Dia duit, Jim!

It's so nice to hear from you. Definitely proud of that Irish heritage...I've even got a touch of Gaelic in my blog. I'm originally from the New Albany area, though I had some Shireman family in Columbus at one point.

Thanks for finding me. Have a great day!
