There's another discussion on SI where you are supposed to describe Indianapolis in 3 words or less http://www.smallerindiana.com/forum/topics/3-words-or-lessno It would be nice to have a paragraph of support for many of these statements. Some of t…

Aaron, I have to agree that broadly speaking LS is a tough sell. Personally, I wish there was more focus within the LS on a couple of areas where Indiana as a whole has strengths rather than pretending to be all things to all people all of the time.

Aaron, you make some great points. Thanks for tackling my question John, in answer to your question: I think it's going to take a concerted effort in one or two areas at a time. We can't tackle all of the issues but if we tackle one problem or area…

I would have to agree with a number of things that have already been said. In particular I agree that we tend to follow the puck. It seems to me that there are many people trying to take a swipe at the proverbial puck but there's a serious lack in c…

Jeremy:

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm bringing a life sciences conference to town. I was hoping you might share this announcement with others who might find attending this event of interest.

It's called Documentation and Training Life Sciences and it takes place June 23-26, 2008 at the Union Station Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis. Smaller Indiana members qualify for a $300 discount off the price of attendance. Educators can get an even bigger discount.

I have a flyer I can send you via email that you can send to folks who might be interested. Let me know if you can help me spread the word locally.

Thanks in advance.
