Thanks :) My friend opened a bakery last year. I seem to always have at least one or two projects on the side, but I'm really focused on opening my first photography booth at an art fair! My first one is in mid-July, gulp.

Laura said you've been doing the signage for the Famer's Market off 54th. That's so awesome. Has it drummed up more business for you?

Um, great news. We can finally animate our little, dancing grapevine.

Hi Heidi,

Welcome to SI, it's a great place to network with some wonderful business owners!

I'd like to extend an invitation to join our Women's Entrepreneur group here on SI, you can find it at http://www.smallerindiana.com/group/womenentrepreneur.

It's a great group of women business owners and we will be starting a meet up in April.

Have a great day,
Angela

Heidi, that is excellent. I am substantially older than you, having graduated in '82 but growing up in Goshen and being very close to CR 22 my dad taught me to ride a motorcycle at age 13 and I used to tool all over Bristol, Middlebury, etc.

Heidi, I am the founder of the Indiana Business Network and we are going to open up chapter in South Bend, Goshen, Elkhart not too far off. We're going to look at identifying facilitators who can help us run weekly hour long events. If you know people in the business community who are self-employed we would love any help we can get. you can visit www.indianabusinessnetwork.com for some info.

Heidi, I am from Goshen, IN. Did you just go to school at Goshen College or are you native to the area as well?

Welcome to Smaller Indiana. I think you will find this is a little different then most Social Networks. The community is active both on and off line. Check out some of our groups and events for information on what is going on around the state.

Looking for tips on how to get started? Check out Kristen’s post it is filled with suggestions, and links

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
