AMEN! If we don't speak up, the company will never understand how to improve. We owe it to them and to ourselves as consumers. The key is to do it with impeccability!

I listen to two pieces of music that are especially inspiring to and for me. Then I go early so I can see and experience the room. I ike to mingle with the participants, if possible, to gain some connection and possibly use it in the speech.

I've done IT support for the past 15 years, but I have had 30 years experience as a professional musician, and a lot of varied work experiences in other fields in between bands over the years. I love working face to face with people and I love doing things that I feel are improving other people's lives, so I am pretty wide open to new opportunities along those lines. I'm much more of a people-person than your average tech geek or IT phone support person.

So far, the job hunt has been slow. I've met some really great people as I've stepped up my networking, but so far, no one has offered me a job. I've got some meetings coming up though, and I'm optimistic, so we'll see.

Hey Francine,
I'm not sure how I missed your comment, but thanks for connecting with me. I have been doing IT support for the last 15 years but I am also considering other career options at this point. I've been a professional musician for 30 years and I've had alot of other work experience in between bands before I started working on computers. Anyway, Let me know if you know of any good career opportunities.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi, Francine... Thanks SO MUCH for remembering me & the 'dinner group' I was trying to put together for a few of us ladies on the westside. Well, you would not BELIEVE the response! My original goal was to generate interest from about 4-5 ladies, to have 1-2 attend our first dinner meeting (in May) & to grow the group to about 10 by the end of the year. Instead, I got 14 responses & 12 RSVP's within the first 4 DAYS!!! We meet for dinner once a month, we currently have over 30+ MEMBERS online, we average 10+ guests a month & who have given us a 5-STAR rating each time! Check out our site & tell me what you think. In the meantime, if you'd like to meet for coffee before our next dinner, let me know. (I'm available most weekdays after 2:30p.) Thanks, again, for remembering me. I hope to hear from you soon!! Hi Francine, I just found your note and I'm embarrassed that it is taking this long to get back with you. I checked out your website to get a better idea of who you are and what you do, very cool. Oh I mean your website is OK, but your occupation is awesome. I worked with an industrial psychologist years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I have always prided myself on my desire and ability to help others reach their full potential.

Well I sure hope we will get a chance to hook up one of these days. I'm sure your schedule is just as busy as mine, but I will be at the Plainfield IBN Wednesday if you can make it.

Good Morning, I just read your profile with interest. My name is Frank Hubbard and I am a small business owner and resident of Avon. I suspect we may share interest and there may be value in getting better acquainted. I attend the Plainfield chapter meeting of (IBN) Indiana Business Network every Wednesday morning @ 10am. There is no cost or obligation to check it out and judging from your profile you might just find it beneficial. If you think you might be interested feel free to drop me a note. I'd be happy to help.

Hi, Francine... We have a couple of things in common: We're both members of Heart Link & we both live in Hendricks County. I'm thinking about starting a monthly "business women" dinner group for the West Indy area for fun, networking & new friends. A few of us (just 4-5 ladies) are getting together this Thur evening to discuss. Is that something that would interest you? I sure hope so, because your profile/background reflects someone I'd really like to know!

Francine : The issues are Elem. school kids are getting previously adult diseases (Diabetes) and in 10 years it will be common for them to be having heart attacks in their teen years . This is TRAGIC and will happen if we don't help . Dr. David Katz shared the above . We educate and encourage Universal SELF Care (personal responsibility) to reverse these issues . It's been said this generation will have a shorter life span than their parents . I'm seeking those who want to help turn the tide . Bill Price , (317) 773-0347 .
