Hi Ellen. Groovy page. I do a lot of work on the north side of Indy but always looking to do more and serve more. I help people stay a little safer utilizing electronic security systems. I am interested in connecting with neighborhood associations and people on crime watch committees and such. have been with my company for about 10 years, active the local security business for over
20 years and the company I represent, Guardian, has been in business for over 50 years. For neighborhoods we give back via fee Bio Docs (Digital Fingerprinting) for kids and Crime Watch Signs and Info.

If you can help with any contacts or info, that would be much appreciated.

good luck with your indiana historical novel!, and thanks for reading Circus in Winter. One book that helped me a lot research-wise was called "Everyday Life in the 1800's." I have a new book out about Indiana, but it's not historical. It's about dating and football.

Hi Ellen - you're welcome. Like you, I looked around and saw a definite space to fill. I hope to meet many more music people, and even probably learn more about people I already know.

Indianapolis Complaints Choir?

You may have heard of the Helsinki Complaints Choir:

What is a Complaints Choir? In Finnish the expression "Valituskuoro," meaning "Complaints Choir," is used to describe situations where a lot of people are complaining. So some Finns came up with the quirky idea to do this literally. You can read more about it on this web page.

Other cities around the world are following the example. Now, I'm mostly an optimistic per… Continue

Do you live or work in Broad Ripple, Meridian-Kessler, or Butler-Tarkington?

Come check out the new group I started for people who live, work, or just care about these neighborhoods to share information. I've lived in Meridian-Kessler for twelve years, work regularly in Butler-Tarkington, and Broad Ripple, and enjoy the culture and unique environment that these neighborhoods offer.

I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. What do you love about these neighborhoods? What needs improvement? What are your favorite restaurants and businesses? Do you use the Monon Trail and… Continue
