Death of the Brochure and More Verbal Masturbation

Takes more than hype and gimmicks to kill brochures, tv, radio, paintings and records

Recently a local marketing firm hosted a presentation entitled The Death of the Brochure. I know that a few people attended although I passed on the opportunity because I don't believe the brochure is dead. It's not dead for the same reason traditional photography didn't kill painting, radio didn't kill newspapers and magazines, TV didn't kill

Hello Duncan,
We are working on a ning website but are at some challenges. Do you know of any web people who are good at working with ning sites? We will take whoever you know and speak to them about this project. Please fill free to foward my info also to any web people.

Here are some of the barriers right now.

*having the public vote on video/written essay's where a member can only vote once. Just want to prevent any pitfalls with an online voting contest
*entries filling out online forms/essay's that will get fowarded to us

Everything else seems very easy to work with as an admin on ning.

Thank you! Tod Esquivel

Hey Duncan!

Nice to meet you last night! It's so cool that you know Jane! She used to work with my Mom at ACA... She attended the Martinsville Community Day for me just this past Saturday, which is where I met her for the first time. Remind her to create a Smaller Indiana profile when she comes in to your office today!

Take care,

Nicki

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

4. Events should be posted in the events calendar, not inside blog posts

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

7. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
