Just a quick note to let you know that I'm bringing a life sciences conference to town. I was hoping you might share this announcement with others who might find attending this event of interest.

It's called Documentation and Training Life Sciences and it takes place June 23-26, 2008 at the Union Station Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis. Smaller Indiana members qualify for a $300 discount off the price of attendance. Educators can get an even bigger discount.

I have a flyer I can send you via email that you can send to folks who might be interested. Let me know if you can help me spread the word locally.

Yes, it is a little disappointing how the pictures are displayed in the forum. It's neat to hear about the Usability Professionals Association and the Society of Technical Communications. Hi Dennis. Thanks for posting photos of your dogs. They are so cute! I love the ones where they are on top of the washer and there paws are totally green from running around in the grass. My dog, Maddie, does all of that too. I will post photos soon...promise! Seeing your two makes me want to get a brother or sister for Maddie.

How do you like HCI studies? If I were to go back and do another degree it would either be that or web development, probably the latter. Right now though, I'm content reading books, Internet resources and making working models/examples on the web. Do you know how you want to use HCI long-term? Cheers, Dan

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
