Downsized AGAIN!

I'm a technical writer, working for the last ten years as a contractor. I'm used to things ending. I go in, do a job, wow them, and when the project is over, I leave. It is expected and even anticipated. Nobody likes to be out of a job but I've enjoyed the adventure of moving from company to company every two or three years, meeting new people and pleasing new bosses. And I've never had a significant gap between jobs.

For the second time since the economy has gone south, I've been downsized and… Continue

Hi, Dawn. We have met twice now (4 of us). Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday Aug 30th from 4-6pm. We are meeting at the Barnes & Noble at the Greenwood Park Mall. We have all documented our writing goals so the others can hold us accountable. We are just to the point where we are sending each other something to critique - the intent being to have the critique's complete and discuss in our next meeting. Please let me know if you are interested.

Hi, Dawn. Are you still interested in a Southside writers group? I am contacting everyone that responded to Gordon's question as this seems to have gone cold and I am definitely interested in a group.

Best regards,

Matt

Welcome to Smaller Indiana. I think you will find this is a little different then most Social Networks. The community is active both on and off line. Check out some of our groups and events for information on what is going on around the state.

Here's a link to a Google doc spreadsheet with 375 groups listed (sort by category or name of group) Smaller Indiana Group Links. I am sure you will find a few things which will interest you.
