Hi, Dave - It was great seeing you on Friday. I'll look forward to chatting with you again the next time I visit the Athenaeum. Or maybe I'll see you at First Friday again. Have a great week!

Hi Dave. My name is Ginger Kreitl. I just joined Smaller Indiana to build my network in order to find employment in the Human Resources field. I recently graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University this past spring. I wanted to know if you had any ideas and/or contacts in the field?

Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
I ran the bar at the Athenaeum for a recent "Smaller Indiana" event on poetry and was very impressed with the group of people you drew. Joining seemed to be a good thing to do, as I am always looking to surround myself with positive, creative, and innovative people, and you folks seem to be on the right track!

What do I do?

My days and nights are rarely ever the same. I can be found slinging drinks at the American Cabaret Theater and Athenaeum Foundation rentals/events, gardening, substitute teaching for IPS, filling a number of vending machines, worshiping at Redeemer Presbyterian (16th & Delaware) on Sunday mornings, pursuing my passion for original music, reading tirelessly, the works of the Puritans (not anything like how they are caricatured!), selling commercial and residential flooring via the best carpet store "hands down," in town, and most importantly, sharing and selling what I consider to be the best product in the world: the Mona Vie juice beverage.

I have been drinking Mona Vie for over a year now, and have heard every negative smirk, reply, skeptical thought, and sometimes even a downright harsh condescending assault, but you gotta go with what you know, and in reality, most folks who are "not interested", can't understand how I can be so passionate, yet sensitively bridled, about "a juice". Yet I am, and for very good reasons. I liken it to dealing with the same kind of skepticism Christopher Columbus, Copernicus, Newton, and Galileo, and most entrepreneurs, artists, writers, and inventors deal with in their own day. Hey, when a discovery is this young, then there should be skepticism! I was, at least for a few months, and then for another 9 months on their marketing plan! Even when I was experiencing the amazing benefits mentally and physically from this food source (and that is what it is!), it was difficult for me to embrace their multi-level marketing model, or anything to do with MLMs in general.

After doing my homework, I slowly came to the conclusion that for this type of product, especially, and most businesses in general, it is word-of mouth, networking, that builds and maintains strong companies! It's not always real fast growth, but it is solid growth which will endure through this highly volatile market of corporate America that we live in.

I've posted a you tube site (www.youtube.com/davidshulse) which is an ongoing collection of videos respecting the things and concepts I am studying.
