Anne Hills will give a concert in the Gothic Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery as part of the celebration of James Whitcomb Riley's 160th birthday on Sunday October 4th at 7 pm. The concert will be followed by refreshments and a moonlight walk to Riley's monument on top of Crown Hill.

- Dan, I'm sending this to you because of your connections to the Indy Folk series. I may have lined up Anne Hills (www.annehills.com) to give a concert in the Gothic Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery on October 3rd or 4th. She has been active in the Folk Music scene for over 25 years, sometimes with Tom Paxton. We're particularly interested in this venue because she has recorded a CD of James Whitcomb Riley poems set to her music, and Riley actually had a funeral service in the building before he was buried on top of Crown Hill. But that is only a small part of her repertoire.
Do you have any opinion about whether or not the people in your circle would be interested in attending? Also, if this does get finalized, would you be willing forward some publicity about it via your site? Also, would it conflict with an Indy Folk Series event or with any similar event that you might happen to know about.
