Gov. Daniels is REFUSING to accept the President's Unemployment portion of the Stimulus

Just Received!!!

Dear Friends:
I learned via our local news that Gov. Daniels is REFUSING to accept the President's Unemployment portion of the Stimulus. According to the governor, extending unemployment benefits would mean overhauling the system. When President Obama was asked this question by a reporter, (not in regards to Indiana) his response was that Governors could reverse the system once the economy picks up. I find this appalling and very hypocritical. I know many people who are… Continue

I will do my best to call you as soon as I can, Cissi. My roommate has to work early in the morning on Sat. but I'm hoping she'll be home around 11'ish and I can give you a call then.

1st, wht is you busget or what do you consider cheep?

Ideally, I would like to only spend $20/month or less if I can help it. I simply won't be using the phone much at all.

2nd, do you want prepaid or contract?

Probably pre-paid because I don't want to get locked into a contract where I will have to pay a penalty if I want to discontinue the service or whatever. Contracts can get tricky, even for cell phones. But, if a particular contract IS in fact the best option and the most cost-friendly, then of course I'd consider it.

3rd, do you have a favorite carrier?

I have nothing to base it off of. Whoever has the best signal and one where I won't get 'dropped calls'.

I really would like to iron something out with you ASAP because I want to start applying to other jobs. I'm available to meet with you anytime this weekend so if we could discuss this at further length this weekend or early next week that would be great. Thanks again for being willing to help me, Cissi.

I have no idea what I want to do, Cissi. lol You just confused me with half the stuff you wrote on my page.haha I just need a cheap cell phone. I really only need it for job purposes (so employers can get ahold of me). What do you think would be the best route for me to take in regard to getting a cell phone through your company/organization?

Pleasing hearing I'm still on ur dance card...signed on to get u a note this a.m. on the vet group I mentioned. Check their website at Hoosiers Veteran's Assistance Foundation...is at 10th and Pennsylvania.
Established primarily on premise of assisting homeless vets so would think ur project would strike a chord with them so give it a shot.
Forget the SI group but am going tonight to the Jazz Kitchen at 54th & College for their get-together.

Yours for a great day,

Cissi, I was thinking about your situation this morning. I still can't remember if I recommended him or not to you. I really do feel bad if I did and the desired results were not met. I will try to get a hold of him and see what is going on.

Really bothers me and will try to help out. I know I didn't do it, but just nagging at me.
At 2:26pm on June 5, 2009, Steve Stuck said…
Wow. Thanks for the update and really shocked he left the work and mower situation like he did. How long ago was it? What was he supposed to do exactly?

I did higher him for a job and it was done right and have had others tell me he did a good job. I did hear through the grapevine he was in a relationship problem but then heard it was resolved.
