Hi Chris, thanks for the add. I happen to need some business cards. I'd like to see a proof first, though, because no one seems to be able to get my colors right.

Are you in Odon? If I sent you the eps file of my card, could I get a proof before ordering? my contact info is on my website www.lotusdevelopment.net

Excellent Points!!!
http://www.juneteenth.com/ It has to do with the endiing of slavery in the US. Robert Williams wrote about "ebonics" in 1973 and 1975.
That's what I said, the words have been used for years, but the term "ebonics" being used to describe those slang words was developed in the 1970's. All I said is there was no such thing as "ebonics" before the mid-1970's. There were slang words b...
Ebonics and texting language is not part of the English language...apparently you don't understand this simple concept. The English language changes at or about the same rate every year with new additions. In the past 20 years, there has NOT been...
Thanks Cissi! You are right! And you were denied access to the Man Club! Sorry! It's for Men Only! :( Sorry!
SERIOUSLY???? READ IT!! 200+ years... I didn't give a set figure...on purpose! It is more complex now, it grows every year...as stated. Wow, it's like trying to carry on a conversation with my nieces or nephew!!
That's funny...I don't know his physical background...but I do know mine :) So, I'm confident on both the physical aspect of this and the mental aspect (mental aspect was clearly won on this side when he failed to even read the entire post before ...
Sorry if I don't respond to EVERY post you make...I get lost in the ridiculousness of many of them! To respond now...I'm not in charge of the English language...sorry to disappoint you. I follow the rules set forth for the English language. It i...
continue reading next time... "no more than it has year in and year out for the past 200 plus years!" It's great that you like to try to make an argument about things, but seriously, read what is written before you make a reply!!
Because your points are ridiculous! And generally make no sense at all...much like this one!
"Ain't" is not ebonics...and sorry, African American's did not develop it! It was recognized in 1975 as "ebonics". Prior to that, no such word of "ebonics" was in use. Yes, slang was used prior to 1975, but ebonics was created as a term for certa...
Great post...I look at the 4th and wonder how long these things you speak of will last with the direction our country is currently heading!! Soon, there will be no "last survivor" of Pearl Harbor. Many don't care about our service people already...
Except for the fact that "bum" literally means "buttocks"...so she is correct. If they think she is an idiot for saying "bum", then obviously they need to look in the mirror!
The issue brought forth previously was that "ebonics" is an African American "vernacular". There is a Hoosier vernacular, go to Kentucky or California or New York, and they will tell you there is! It is a part of growing up in Indiana. You can bre...
Define "American-made" cars! I think that is the problem here, people seem to only think of the Big 3 as American-made...when in reality, nearly all automakers have plants in the US. Sorry, but I would be much more likely to buy a Toyota truck th...
Ebonics first came into use in 1975, and wasn't readily used until the mid 1990's. It does not have a long-standing history. "ain't" on the other hand does have a long history, and it took a very, very long time for it to be considered a word.
First, it's not the same at all! Were you ever a slave? No. There are Jews still alive who can remember dealing with the Holocaust directly. Second, there are heritage festivals, and I'm not a fan of them either. Third, I never said sweep slaver...
Real heroes...yes! My girlfriend and I were driving on I64 to St. Louis last summer. We were in the 3rd lane (far left...fast lane), and a silver car was in the middle lane, about 3 car links in front of us...no other vehicles were around though....
I agree that we should all be American, not "African American" or "German American". The funny thing is, the term you hear most often is "African American", and rarely do you hear the others "German", "Irish", etc. The others all seem to have assi...
