Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
It is a joy for me to meet new people. I am an "idea person" and love to brainstorm with like-minded individuals for causes I am passionate about. It will be nice to chat with people who have similar interests. I would do this even if I did not have my own business, but since I do, I would also like to network with others as to how I can use my business to help needy organizations through fundraising. If someone has friends who can purchase my products at retail, then I can give some or all of the profit to a group in need.

Hi Charla,

Thanks for your note. I am a co-Founder/strategist/ evangelist for PickyList, a recently launched online marketplace for Indianapolis. We only recently launched and are still early in the open beta phase, but are confident that PickyList will quickly become a top 5 daily use application for web-savvy Indianapolis residents.

Definition of Evangelist: Dictionary.com #6: a person marked by evangelical enthusiasm for or support of any cause.

You are quite welcome!

He is an interesting fellow. All has not been good but our union is blessed because what has been overcome has allowed us to grow. He comes with a history that would scare most, but he is also a man of God working in the pulpits for God and we take that journey together. I do, though, keep a little of me stuck back for myself! I'm too independent and free-spirited.

Truthfully, I don't know if I will marry him, though he wants it. I am an only child. and, at the age of 53, I have never been married. I am kind of gun shy. Also, I have to stick around my mothers house to take care of her and her house. She's so mean, she has no one else. She's 73 this woman has driven off 11 yard guys and handy men in the last two years! She's my mom!

How do you like SI so far? I thinks is a great site just to sit and read if you don't want to participate in the discussions. The members have so much to offer. I can understand where you are coming from when you said you would never blog. I told myself I would never join a social networking site. But, here on SI is different.

Have you had a chance to look at our photo array? You can click it from here, you know.

Check out my new post. It's kind of sad. But, I'm Cissi - I bounce back!

Thanks for being you!

Welcome my friend!

I am so sure that you will enjoy blogging in this since. And, the camaraderie I have gained through networking here on SI is phenomenal. Knowing of you what I do, I decided that this was a family worth your attention.

Click and look at this discussion. I think you will appreciate it.

Please join my group Reach Out! Outreach and tell us some feel good stories. And, please speak of your positive experience with Operation Open Up. Let everyone know that you are the woman in my photo array. Also, I would like to suggest some friends, Pastor Benjamin John, Amy Stark, my fiance Will Rivers, oh yeah(!) and ME!. Amy Stark and I are planning a meetup in downtown. I noticed You were friends with Nikki Lewellan. She can provide you with a free invite to a Rainmakers meeting.

You will meet some wonderful people here at SI. Don't get me wrong, there are some A-holes, too. But, I think you will enjoy it.

Oh yeah, I do voice my opinion. Please don't think I'm crazy sometimes when you read what I have to say. Some of these folks can get your blood to boiling. but it is all a part of intelligent exchange.

Welcome, my friend!
