AroundIndy.com is a LOCALLY owned, fully searchable online database of upcoming events primarily in the 9-county metro area around Indianapolis (hence the name!). Want to see just sports? Visit the Sports page. Want to see just Fairs and Festivals? Or Museums? Or Theatres? Or a specific day's events? Or a specific county's events? Etc., etc. We'll even send you free event reminders. There isn't an online searchable events database this thorough anywhere else in Indiana. You can easily and quickly submit your own events here.
You can subscribe to our RSS Feeds in Blogger, Wordpress, or MySpace, and you can also add our free widgets to your site (such as the example below) that automatically get updated daily. There's more free stuff on our Web site, including free event listings available on your iPhone or Blackberry or Droid or other handheld mobile device.
On most days, there are typically about 23-26,000 event listings on display for the next 12 months. With more than 175,000 downloads by our listeners and subscribers, our podcast is the #1 Indianapolis daily podcast on Apple's iTunes Music Store. And with more than 39 million hits, our site traffic currently ranks in the top 0.3% of all Web sites in America (source: Quantcast.com).
