I work at this sorta intermediary org. No direct service, we provide service to those who provide service (like Bosma): low-cost professional development, data research, looow-cost consulting -- mostly subsidized by our friends at Lilly Endow and the fundraising me and the boss do.
But as I'm sure you know, in this biz you wear many hats. I do my share of marketing and event planning as well...

Here is something I think you might be interested in attending.
I co-founded the Business Roundtable Network (BRN www.brncommunity.com). We have our biggest event in our short history (Jan. 2009 until now) coming up next week. If ever there was a time to get involved with BRN now would be the time. We provide the support and exchange of expertise needed in this economy. We need a core of people (50) who are truly committed to helping each other get through this economy and thrive.

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.
