Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Information

Under-40 CEOs

CEOs, both in the for-profit and non-profit worlds, who are under the age of 40.

Location: Indianapolis
Members: 25
Latest Activity: Jun 23

As young CEOs, we not only face the traditional challenges of the CEO, but I believe a unique set of challenges because of our age. This is a networking group that will eventually become a monthly meet-up that will allow us to share ideas, challenges, opportunties, and support.

There has been only one RSVP for the proposed networking meeting for tomorrow night. I'm going to cancel and we'll reschedule when there is further interest.

I have to be passionate about the subject of the charity, but it's also very important to know that the organization is using the money they are given wisely. As far as involvement level, that depends on my time.

What do you all look for when you're getting involved with a charitable organization? At what level do you like to be involved?

Just one year and a month left for me.
Might invite all of you downtown to the Rathskeller after 5 on a Thursday or Friday?

Well let's hurry up because I only have one more year to be in this group! ;-)

I live in the Broad Ripple area, have 3 offices in Castleton, Avon, & West side of Indy. So I am pretty flexible in terms of finding a central place to meet. I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future. Happy Holidays!

Let's keep the input coming, and we can get something together after the holidays!

I live in McCordsville, but most of my clients (where I spend most of my time) are in the Carmel/Castleton area. I'm most available on evenings or late afternoons in the early part of the week. The last of the week is usually busiest for me. Thanks for the invite!

I'm downtown. Rathskeller is a great place to meet-up.
After 5pm is best for me.

I think that this is a great group. Have you checked meet up to see if there are any other groups that you can market to as well? Once central location is a definite plus --- just my 2 cents! :-)

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:

1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

4. Events should be posted in the events calendar, not inside blog posts

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

7. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
