Making people and ideas findable

The internet has changed the way we do business, there's no dispute about that, especially when it comes to marketing. With social media taking over the way we connect with customers, colleagues, businesses, competitors, and friends, our success requires us to be involved and engaged. I'm currently reading Trust Agents by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith. I had the pleasure of hearing them speak about their book and surviving in social media at a recent marketing conference. I also heard their incredible message again when Chris Brogan spoke at Blog Indiana on Friday.

I think Trust Agents is a must read and wanted to suggest it to all of you! You can find it at Amazon.com or read more about it at ChrisBrogan.com.

Has anyone read Trust Agents? What do you think?

I am right there with you!! Here's my blog post about it. http://www.tricia.me/2009/08/17/want-to-be-a-trust-agent-find-out-how/

Making my income online, I have always struggled with how to gain the trust of potential customers. It's definitely a slow process. If you google this book title, you will probably see hundreds of people endorsing it and it just came out last week. THAT is the mark of an author who has built up a trusted network of people. The best part? Many of the people who are posting about the book make their money by selling things online and none of us are evening using our paid links to promote it. We feel so strongly about it that we don't even want to make a dime off of it. We just want people to read it.
