Hello group! I just joined your group. I grew up in South Bend, live in the Indianapolis area now but want to assist my "hometown" area in growth and prosperity. My business is coaching and training focusing on businesses, organizations, departments, and groups in recognizing strengths and reaching potential. My website is www.ActionCoachingTraining.com, new site should be up in a couple of weeks but feel free to check this out until that time.

no Jillian - Rob has significant expertise here. Mine is analytical targeted marketing - markteing science in a way. I know how to use the #1 tool that the big boys and girls use to connect the qualitative to the quantitative.

@Tom congrats on your new adventure. I see you offer lots of branding and marketing strategy services. Do you offer any web development or web strategy services?

I am very excited to announce that I have partnered with Rob Rohena and DIR Inc to establish a new focus for my analytical / scientific marketing analytics segmentation tools and services.

Rob has the focus, leadership and resources to help me make these tools easier to use for our clients which will allow me to focus my personal energy on my sustainable development practice.

Hey guys! How is business going in Michiana?
Jillian Koeneman Comment by Jillian Koeneman on May 4, 2009 at 2:52pm
Have you guys heard of any Michiana companies who have moved to a 4-day work week to conserve resources? Who are they and has it been a positive change?

I am meeting with a leading company in that industry in Indy next week.

I think that as a whole, this area tends to be a little slower to get up to speed with current marketing tactics and strategies in comparison to cities like Indy or Chicago. That being said, I have seen a huge spike in interest in things like SEO and social media over the last couple of months with our clients. Building up your rankings in organic search by using SEO is a great way to attract visitors to your site. Pay-per-click can also compliment that. Obviously, social media is hot right now. Plan on seeing local companies embarking on social media campaigns here very soon.

I agree Judy, let's get fired up! SEO is taking over much of the marketing world and I can tell your colleague about a huge business success based much on this. Best - Tom

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
