Making people and ideas findable

Please don't say Farmers Markets :-) I'm wondering if there are any online sources for ordering local foods for delivery?

Thanks

Lynn makes some very good reasons why to buy local in her "Green Greetings" of the current Indiana Living Green magazine (which, ironically, you can pick up for free on the way out of the large grocery stores that don't have any local food). This magazine is a great source of ideas where to find loacl foods as well as her campanion website http://www.indianalivinggreen.com/

This isn't food, but many can't live with out it. We are organic coffee roasters. We are Midwest Organic Coffee Company in Marion. We roast coffees fresh to order from all over the world. The taste of fresh roasted coffee will amaze you. We are internet retail or it can be pick up at our roastery. Visit our site at: midwestorganiccoffee.com

We will soon be available with your order from Hoosier Organic Connection. If you are not already a client with them check out their site. hoosierorganics.com They deliver locally grown and produced items. I think the intro says a lot about them.

For Fort Wayne people, there is Seven Sons Farm, where you can buy organic, grass-fed meat and eggs. They have also established egg-buying clubs in town. Lucky me--my egg-buying club is right down the street!

I've started getting the boxes monthly from Basic Roots. Its kind of a surprise package because what you get it what they can get from the local providers that month, but there's always an interesting variety. It's similar to the Farm Fresh Delivery folks.

I agree with a lot of the other suggestions such as Goose the Market and the Winter Farmer's Market (this Saturday's the last day!) but those are not online for delivery. I think that Goose will ship, but it may be cost prohibitive. I have been reading through the responses to see if there might be places that I dont know about yet.
This is really exciting to see how this is growing each season.
