Making people and ideas findable

Hi All! This group is going to be a great place for service professionals to meet others in the area and possibly develop a strong relationship with a few (who knows, it may turn into a huge referral!?)... Anyways, please give us a 25 word introduction of yourself.

Hello, all. My business is Windows-to-Mac Solutions" ("Win-2-Mac"). I provide specialized consulting for SMBs that are considering moving to Macs for their computing platform (or even a "mixed" I.T. environment).

My intent is NOT to "sell" clients on making such a switch, but instead to provide expertise in assessing business' unique attributes and provide insight into the potential benefits, challenges, and process of making such a switch. If such a decision is made, I assist with ALL migration and support issues.

Windows-to-Mac Solutions ("Win-2-Mac") is just getting off the ground and welcomes opportunities to earn the trust and confidence of Indiana SMBs as we build our clientele. Thank you!

Paul, I am a new Mac user and I just love my Mac! I am a REALTOR and the real estate world is not up to speed on Macs yet, so I have to use VM Fusion quite a bit. If people only knew how sweet Macs are!

Joyce-- thanks for responding, and congratulations on joining the "bright side." I'm sure there are a few challenges in some "missing" Mac versions of software you need in the R.E. profession, but VM Fusion is a good solution for those pesky Windows-only programs!

If you have a chance, please check out the Apple Users Group here on SI, and please see my "Are you a switcher" discussion and respond if you could.

Thanks!

I teach clients how to accumulate wealth in up or down markets. This is accomplished through a number of different methods that have allowed my clients to have better liquidity, accumulate wealth in a tax-free environment, and live a better lifestyle. Take a minute and look at my website www.bankbuildersindy.com and this will give you just one idea of what I can do for a client. None of my clients, that used these techniques, lost any money when the market collapsed. Please let me know if there is anyone that is tired of losing money in the market and I will be happy to help them turn it around today.

I am a Freelance IT Consultant providing ongoing support to small-business customers that do not have an internal IT presence, and staff augmentation to mid-size organizations that do. My technical specialties are networking and server deployment & management, and my recent projects include:

  • Deploying Cisco ASAs (firewall and security devices)
  • Internetworking multi-sites networks using site-to-site VPN technology
  • Deploying and managing Windows Small Business Server 2007

My background and technical skills are perfect for any organization that wants to standardize their technology assets, reduce the cost of supporting them, and get more efficient use of them. If this sounds like something you'd like to investigate, please contact me here on Smaller Indiana, or email to inquire@tommarsh.net.
